Welcome back Instructor Wendy Pannell!
Join us for Dim Sum round 2! Wendy grew up in Beijing, lived in Europe and the States for over 30 years, and taught cooking classes at Whisk Carolina for almost 10 years! She brings a wealth of knowledge and cannot wait to share her favorite memories and dishes from her life! You do not want to miss this class!
“When I was a child, one of my favorite memories would be helping parents in the kitchen on weekends, We started at the farmer’s market, Mom and Dad would hand pick the freshest ingredients that you could still smell the earth from them. I followed them around from the market to the kitchen with everything that I could get my hands on. Still, the sound of the dish sizzling in the wok, the fragrant smell from the cooking, and most memorable moment is the laugh and conversation we shared during the preparation of our weekend’s feast!
That is how I learned cooking, a lot of authentic recipes I have learned from my parents and grandparents, later, traveling around the world gives me another perspective of Cuisine, food brings people together, makes people connected and happy!”
