What: All Business Briefing on the NCDOR Business Recovery Grant Program
Why: To better understand the grant program requirements and get final questions answered prior to submitting your grant application, which is due on Monday, January 31, 2022.
When: Monday, January 24, 2022 from 4-5pm ET (one week prior to the grant application deadline)
Who: Open to all Chamber members interested in applying for the NC Business Recovery Grant Program, especially employers in hospitality and/or those who have not yet secured other Covid-19 relief funding.

About the Briefing: This free zoom briefing is coordinated by The Chamber For a Greater Chapel Hill-Carrboro in partnership with the Chatham Chamber of Commerce and Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce. The briefing will feature a presenter from the NC Department of Revenue - the agency administering the Business Recovery Grant Program, who will also answer questions.
About the Grant Program: The Business Recovery Grant Program will issue a one-time payment of up to $500,000 to eligible North Carolina businesses that experienced a significant economic loss due to COVID-19. There are two types of grants available to eligible businesses and the application period closes on January 31, 2022. Watch an informational video
-  The Hospitality Grant is available to eligible accommodation and food service business (i.e., hotels, restaurants, and bars), as well as arts, entertainment, and recreation business (NAICS codes 71 and 72).
- The Reimbursement Grant is available to other business (not NAICS Code 71 or 72) that have not received other Covid-19 relief funding (i.e., Paycheck Protection Program, COVID-19 Job Retention Grant, and EIDL Advance).
