Special Guest Speaker: U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Senior Area Manager Patrick Rodriguez 

Why: Things are happening fast. The purpose of this call is to share timely and relevant information for your business and ensure you have the best information on resources available to help you, including the new SBA Loans.

Hosts: This video conference is coordinated by The Chamber For a Greater Chapel Hill-Carrboro, the Town of Chapel Hill Economic Development and Chapel Hill Downtown Partnership; the Town of Carrboro Economic Development and Carrboro Business Alliance; Orange County Economic Development and Orange County Visitors Bureau; the Town of Hillsborough Economic Development and the Hillsborough Orange County Chamber of Commerce; the Chatham County Economic Development Corporation and the Chatham County Chamber of Commerce; and the Small Business Technology and Development Center

About the SBA Loans: The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced the Economic Injury Disaster Loan program, which provides low-interest loans (up to $2 million) to help small businesses and non-profits that have been severely impacted by COVID-19 to overcome the temporary loss of revenue. The interest rate is 3.75% for small businesses and 2.75% for non-profits, with up to 30 year terms.
