2024 Fall Women's Luncheon

Thursday, November 7, 2024 (11:30 AM - 1:30 PM) (EST)

Description

Join the Women of the Chamber in celebrating and giving thanks at our fall Friendsgiving Luncheon on Thursday, November 7th. This luncheon will open with gathering, networking, and a chance to browse the "Mini Expo" to learn more about local businesses. Then we'll enjoy lunch while hearing from a special keynote on "The Power of Inclusive Leadership: Bridging DEI and Work-Life Balance for Collective Success" led by Jeannine Brown, Fellowship Director of Leadership Triangle

In an ever-evolving professional landscape, inclusive leadership has become a critical factor in fostering workplace success. But what does it mean to truly lead inclusively, and how can leaders bridge the gap between diversity, equity, inclusion (DEI), and the growing emphasis on work-life balance? During this session, Jeannine Brown will explore the intersection of DEI initiatives and holistic employee well-being, offering a roadmap for leaders to create environments where every team member feels valued and supported.

Through practical strategies and real-world examples, participants will gain insight into how inclusive leadership not only enhances diversity but also empowers employees to balance their personal and professional lives. Expect to leave with actionable ideas to promote inclusivity and support work-life balance—leading to stronger teams, higher engagement, and collective success.
