Description
We hope you'll join us for the first Black Business Alliance social of 2024 hosted by Innovate Carolina Junction on Tuesday, February 27th for hors d'oeuvres and networking! We are thrilled to announce that Ẹkẹ́ Foods, known for their incredible West African cuisine, will be putting together a fantastic selection of hors d'oeuvres for the evening.
The Black Business Alliance is made up of Black Business owners, Senior Black leadership of local employers and retired Black business leaders. Its mission is to convene, engage, and empower Black business owners and leaders to support the growth of a thriving Black business community.
Thank you to our event sponsors who make this gathering possible:
The Junction houses Innovate Carolina – the University’s central team for innovation, entrepreneurship and economic development. And it’s open to you and all problem solvers in the local and regional entrepreneurial and business community. Our members and community work side by side to turn ideas and research discoveries into startup companies, products and services.
Welcome to Ẹkẹ́ Foods, a culinary haven celebrating the vibrant food culture of West Africa. Our journey began with the visionary founder, an immigrant mother raising first-generation American daughters, driven by a passion to preserve her food heritage and promote healthy living. This black and female-owned small business crafts each recipe and product with love and care, sourcing ingredients locally and actively supporting the community. The name Ẹkẹ́, rooted in Igbo culture, signifies a sacred market day and the morning of creation, encapsulating our commitment to creating and sharing food with care. Embark on a delicious journey around the world by ordering from Ẹkẹ́ Foods – where every bite is a celebration of cultural richness and culinary excellence.
