Visual Journaling for the Reluctant Artist

Thursday, January 28, 2021 (2:00 PM - 3:30 PM) (EST)

Description

VISUAL JOURNALING – (FOR THE RELUCTANT ARTIST!) Find your story in this introductory course and tell it in images. Together we will explore the possibilities of using visual imagery for journaling. In this medium of minimal words, expression comes through line, shape, color and graphic images taken from old books, photos and magazines. Perhaps you are already more comfortable expressing yourself in images or you want to go deeper than the words can take you. If you are willing to ask the right questions, a Visual journal page can speak back to you, the creator and often it holds great wisdom. Material list will be emailed to you upon registration. Bring to first meeting 5 words that hold energy for you right now; a favorite poem or lyrics to a song; and a meaningful (to you) quote. Min: 4/Max: 7 Call 919-968-2070 to register. Register by: Thu, Jan 7 for first session; Thu, Feb 4 for second session Facilitator: Mickey Reed, Certified Soul Collage Fee: FREE Date: Thu, Jan 7, 14 & 21; Feb 11, 18 & 25 (334031-01) Time: 2-3:30pm Link: Program ID and material list will be emailed prior to first sessionVISUAL JOURNALING – (FOR THE RELUCTANT ARTIST!)
