Leadership Chapel Hill-Carrboro is an annual cohort-based program where participants build their personal and professional networks as they turn knowledge into action Registration for the 2027 cohort opens in February 2027, with programming kicking off in May 2027. Session 7: Economic and Community Development – October 8th This session explores how communities intentionally foster economic growth while creating vibrant, inclusive places where people and businesses can thrive. Participants will learn about the roles of local government, businesses, developers, and community partners in shaping development and investment. The cohort will examine current opportunities and challenges affecting the future of economic and community development in our region.
