Nonprofit Executives Lunch & Learn
Tuesday, June 9, 2026 (12:00 PM - 1:15 PM) (EDT)
Description
The Nonprofit Executives Lunch is a regular gathering of the decision makers and leaders of local nonprofits. moss+ross facilitates conversations on key challenges facing nonprofits. Bring your lunch and join us for fellowship, collaboration, and space to bring your latest challenge. Please contact Alissa Cook (acook@carolinachamber.org) with questions.
As nonprofits navigate funding uncertainty and rising demand, strategic budgeting has become a leadership imperative.
Join Dave Monaco, Partner at moss+ross and The Chamber for a Greater Chapel Hill-Carrboro for an interactive Lunch & Learn featuring Josh Dzyak, Partner, Nonprofits, CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA), and another member of CLA’s nonprofit advisory team.
CLA is a national professional services firm providing audit, tax, consulting, and advisory services to nonprofit organizations across the country.
Through a hands-on “budget autopsy” exercise, nonprofit leaders will work in small groups to examine:
- budget pressure points
- strategic resource reallocation
- aligning spending with mission and priorities
- making thoughtful financial tradeoffs in a constrained environment
Attendees are encouraged to bring a current operating budget, one-page financial summary, or budget dashboard for use during the session.
