What: Invitation to register now for Leadership Chapel Hill-Carrboro (Leadership), an extensive program designed to inform, develop, connect, and engage committed and emerging leaders in Greater Chapel Hill-Carrboro.

Why: Leadership participants broaden their understanding of issues and opportunities facing the region, refine their leadership skills, develop lasting relationships, and deepen their influence through ongoing networking and service opportunities. 

When: Leadership 2024 includes ten sessions over five months (from early-May through mid-September). Most most sessions are all-day from 8am to 5pm on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month. Review the 2024 schedule.

Where: Sessions take place at different locations throughout Greater Chapel Hill-Carrboro. Transportation is required.

How: Leadership is a cohort-based learning experience that combines presentations, tours, experiential learning activities, and facilitated dialogue to help participants better understand key issues in the region related but not limited to government, education, housing, workforce and economic development, and health and human services. 

Fee: The Leadership 2024 program fee is $1,975 (member) and $2,250 (non-member). However, if you book before March 31st, you will receive $100 off your enrollment fee! This fee covers programming, session materials, and meals. Major Investors of The Chamber are entitled to the following discounts: Community Champions and Community Investors receive 50% off; Community Builders and Community Leaders receive 25% off.

Partial Scholarships: The Chamber does not want finances to be a barrier to your learning journey. A limited number of partial scholarships are available. To be considered for scholarship funding, please contact Ian Scott.

Register: Registration for Leadership 2024 is open with early bird pricing for applications submitted by Sunday, March 31, 2024. Registration will close on Friday, April 19, 2024. By enrolling, participants commit to the program and payment requirements and, given the time commitment, participants must verify the full support of their employers.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations before the early bird registration deadline of Sunday, March 31, 2024 are fully-refundable. Cancellations before the registration deadline of Friday, April 19, 2024 are 50% refundable. Cancellations on or after the registration deadline of Friday, April 19, 2024 are not refundable but deferment may be an option in the case of an emergency.
