The Poplar Cafe's Story

Julie and Lew first opened Bottle Rev May 2017. We expanded February 2021 when we opened Old East Tavern. The duo now have a coffee, tea, and bites menu at The Poplar Café, which is next door to Old East Tavern. The focus has always been to support local, offer high quality palate delights, foster a sense of community, and cultivate an environment of memorable moments and friendships. The Poplar Café also has 2 small conference rooms in the café, cozy seating, and space for large group meetings as well.
