Chapel Hill, NC (May 17, 2022): Today is the statewide Primary Election. The Chamber For a Greater Chapel Hill-Carrboro and the Carrboro Business Alliance are pleased to share one-minute videos of many of the candidates on the ballot. These videos and more are available on The Chamber's Election Hub, which is a one-stop shop for information about who and what is on your ballot and where and when to vote.

“We appreciate each and every candidate for their willingness to serve our community and for taking the time to share one-minute introductory videos for the local business community," said Katie Loovis, Vice President for External Affairs, The Chamber For a Greater Chapel Hill-Carrboro and staff support for the Carrboro Business Alliance.

How to Vote

Primary Elections are often punctuated with little interest and low turnout, but in Orange County, NC, where many more Democrats are registered than Republicans, the winner of the Spring Primary Election almost always wins the General Election in November for local offices. Primaries matter in Orange County.  Visit the The Chamber's Election Hub to learn more about where to vote (polling place search), the candidates on your ballot (sample ballot), and the statewide Primary Election.
