Ribbon Cutting - Children's Art Classes

Children’s Art Classes - Chapel Hill is located in the Timberlyne shopping center at 1129 Weaver Dairy Road (next to YoPop!). Please join us at 4pm on Friday, January 2, 2025 for a ribbon cutting and refreshments. Guests will have the opportunity to see the renovated space, do a short art activity if desired, and learn more about the course offerings! 

Children's Art Classes offers a studio-based art education to ages 3+ focused on teaching mastery of technique while introducing students to a wide range of media. Students will come to a class once a week throughout the school year and the school opens for classes January 5th. The Chapel Hill location of Children’s Art Classes is independently owned and operated by local parent and business owner Kelly Alexander, a former public school art teacher. This will be the first time Children’s Art Classes has opened in Chapel Hill but it has been in operation for over 30 years elsewhere in the country. We have a wonderful group of experienced art educators who are looking forward to sharing this exceptional curriculum with you.
