Join the women of The Chamber for our November luncheon. Gathering around gratitude we'll enjoy networking, a silent auction, and a keynote from Dr. Mira Brancu of Brancu & Associates. 

Mira will be speaking to us on facing the unknown in 2021. We're all working harder than ever before and wondering what challenges 2021 will bring. There is a lot that is out of our control right now, but in our effort to prepare ourselves to manage it all, we sometimes do things that might actually make things worse! In this quickfire interactive keynote, you'll learn 5 ways to shift your mindset that might seem counterintuitive but are much more effective in the long run. In addition, you will leave with a specific framework for how to decide on your next steps to put in place for 2021. 

Along with your seat in the meeting, your registration will also include a $25 gift certificate mailed to your home to enjoy a meal at the Carolina Inn's Crossroads restaurant. While we are sad that we cannot directly serve you lunch at this luncheon, we have no doubt our dear friends at the Carolina Inn will offer a safe, enjoyable experience when you make your dinner reservation this holiday season.

Dr. Mira Brancu is the founder of Brancu & Associates, a boutique consulting firm that aims to help leaders navigate large, complex organizations and helps organizations make it easier for them to navigate. She has a special passion for helping emerging and under-represented women leaders gain the influence, power, management, and resiliency needed succeed in today?s diverse, complex, and ever-changing world. She also specializes in working in healthcare, academic, federal government, and non-profit industries.

With over 20 years of experience as a counselor, psychologist, researcher, leader, and consultant in large, complex organizations, Dr. Brancu has built an unrivaled understanding for how to apply psychological principles to addressing some of the most challenging leadership and management situations. She helps leaders strategically and intentionally build effective teams, resolve stressful conflicts, deliver important messages, exert influence, develop a resilient leadership mindset, and manage at all levels. 

Dr. Brancu received the 2020 Early Career Woman Psychologist in Management Award, has a national Psychology Today blog focused on women's leadership, is an Associate Professor at Duke University, Senior Faculty at the Institute for Contemporary Leadership (ICL), and is the first female Associate Editor of the Consulting Psychology Journal. Dr. Brancu holds a PhD in clinical psychology, a Master?s degree in counseling, and certificates in business, Lean Six Sigma, and Transformational and Mentor Coaching.
