Adapted Play: Sensory-Friendly Nights

Wednesday, June 15, 2022 (5:30 PM - 7:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

Join us for Adapted Play: Sensory Friendly Night on May 18th where we'll be helping the local pollinators by creating seed bombs! We'll be using wildflower seeds, soil, and clay to create seed bombs you can take home. This FREE monthly program is specifically for children with neurodivergent needs, (such as developmental disabilities). Siblings and other family members are encouraged to attend and participate as well. Sensory-Friendly Nights offer the chance to explore the Museum without the noise, large crowds, and stimulation of the typical museum visit. We limit the number of families who can attend and provide sanitized adaptive equipment such as noise-reducing headphones, timers, fidget toys, and visual schedules.
