Extraordinary Ventures is a non-profit with a mission to create and nurture self-sustaining small businesses with the philosophy that all people are employable. We focus on providing employment opportunities for an often overlooked workforce – Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities such as autism.  

We operate 6 local businesses in Chapel Hill with an inclusive workforce: 

• Blue Hill Event Center - a premium event venue in the heart of Chapel Hill
• Extraordinary Laundry Service - pick up and delivery wash/dry/fold laundry subscription
• Extraordinary Gifts - handmade candles and soaps created by an inclusive workforce
• Extraordinary Office Solutions - professional office services, bulk mailing and shredding
• Extraordinary Pet Service - dog walking and cat sitting with a personal touch
• Simple Clean - professional interior bus cleaning for Chapel Hill Transit
