On Thursday, March 9, the co-owners of The Cheese Shop will celebrate the grand opening of their first brick-and-mortar space co-located inside Glasshalfull, a neighborhood wine bar and restaurant in downtown Carrboro. Recently named one of the most anticipated openings of 2023 by Eater Carolinas, the noteworthy opening signifies the only cut-to-order cheese shop in the Triangle area. 

About The Cheese Shop 

The Cheese Shop began as a pop-up in April 2022, operating as part retail shop and part food truck without wheels, the two were a weekly fixture at Pluck Farm Farmer’s Market in Mebane, NC, ran a cut-to-order ecommerce and cheese board business out of Redstart Foods in Durham, NC, and continue to partner with local restaurants, breweries, and cocktail lounges to bring attention and awareness to great cheese throughout the Triangle.
