June 16 at American Legion: Chapel Hill Post 6. At a celebratory luncheon ceremony, The Chamber will honor 21 exceptional businesses and 3 community leaders for their achievements in the greater Chapel Hill-Carrboro business community.

Join Chapel Hill Young Professionals at the Carolina Club!

Join us at the Carolina Club on June 14th, where we'll enjoy delicious drinks, light hors d'oeuvres, and great company! This event will be from 5:30 - 7 p.m. We hope to see you there.

The Chapel Hill Young Professionals (CHYP pronounced "chip") is a group of fun professionals under 40 that meets monthly for networking, professional development, and community service.

 

Expand Your Network at Business After Hours on June 30

Please join us for an in-person business after hours and grand opening event at Tru by Hilton Chapel Hill. Enjoy complimentary food and beverages during this two hour networking event to catch up with old friends and meet some new ones.  

 

We will also host a special ribbon cutting ceremony for Tru by Hilton Chapel Hill at 6 p.m. to celebrate their new space!

Ribbon Cutting at BaseCamp
Chapel Hill

Come celebrate Franklin Street's newest establishment, BaseCamp Chapel Hill, a bar and restaurant located at 104 E. Franklin Street in downtown Chapel Hill on May 27!

Guests are invited to indulge in craft cocktails, exquisite appetizers, and much more at 4 p.m. before a ribbon cutting ceremony. We can't wait to see you there!

Ribbon Cutting at Exquisite Experience

Exquisite Experience Venue is hosting a grand opening and ribbon cutting on May 28 from 12-6 p.m. It is a free event for the public and an ALL White Affair! Celebrate and feel the vibes as you experience the new venue space. Great food, cocktails, swag bags, giveaways and more will be provided!

 

May has been exciting at The Chamber! We have enjoyed celebrating six businesses so far this month with ribbon cutting ceremonies. Nora Spencer recognized as a CNN Hero

Nora Spencer, Founder and CEO of Hope Renovations, was named aCNN Hero on May 19 for her work, leadership and vision at the Carrboro-based non-profit. Active in the local community, Spencer serves on The Chamber's Government Affairs Committee and the CBA Leadership Council.

 

Hendrick Southpoint Turns Four!

 

Small Business Health Service

Piedmont Health's Small Business Health Service has partnered with The Chamber to provide affordable health care to all employees and family members regardless of insurance status. Participating in the service is free and gives members - and their employees and their dependents - access to primary care physicians for $60 per visit, including any in-house exams, as well as generic prescription medications filled on-site for $13 on average.
