Develop, Engage, and Grow with Leadership

Leadership Chapel Hill-Carrboro (Leadership) is an extensive program designed to inform, develop, connect, and engage committed and emerging leaders in Greater Chapel Hill-Carrboro.

Leadership participants broaden their understanding of issues and opportunities facing the region, refine their leadership skills, develop lasting relationships, and deepen their influence through ongoing networking and service opportunities. Listen to a recent Leadership Graduate share reflections on the program.

On April 14, we hosted a virtual information session to provide an overview of the program for interested applicants. Didn’t get a chance to attend? Watch the video or review the slides.

Tomorrow is the deadline to be a part of the 2022 cohort.

The Candidates and Elected Officials Forum

Join us on the first day of in-person early voting on Thursday, April 28, at 8:30 a.m. for The Candidates and Elected Officials Forum. This annual forum, coordinated by The Chamber in collaboration with the Carrboro Business Alliance, is a convenient and easy way to navigate the legislative lay of the land and connect with nearly all relevant policy makers and influencers in one quick swoop.

Primary Elections are often punctuated with little interest and low turnout. But in Orange County, NC, where many more Democrats are registered than Republicans, the winner of the spring Primary Election almost always wins the General Election in November. Primaries matter in Orange County. Learn more about the upcoming Primary Election and review the list of candidates.
