Event Description:

The Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce and the Orange/Chatham Sierra Club will host two joint candidate forums for Chapel Hill and Carrboro municipal election candidates. 
 
The forum for Chapel Hill Town Council candidates will be held 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 3 at the Chapel Hill Public Library at 100 Library Drive  in Chapel Hill.  The moderator of the forum is D.G. Martin.  Martin is a Chapel Hill resident, a syndicated newspaper columnist the host of “North Carolina Bookwatch” on UNC-TV and of “Who’s Talking” on WCHL 97.9. 
 
Members of the Chamber and Sierra Club, as well as the broader public, are invited to attend these forums to hear from local candidates and their vision for our community.  Additionally The Peoples Channel will re-broadcast both forums on Channel 8 in Chapel Hill and Channel 4 in Carrborro on Time Warner.
