What: The Summer Careers Academy (SCA) Kickoff and Orientation for the inaugural cohort of the "Building Our Future" skilled trades career training program 

When: Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 4:30pm-6:00pm 

Where: Sheraton Chapel Hill Hotel, One Europa Drive, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, 27517

Who: Invitees include the 2022 SCA "Building Our Future" cohort of students (including parents/caregivers) and employers (including direct supervisors and other executives) as well as SCA Steering Committee members, SCA funders, SCA partners (including the school career development coordinators and Chapel Hill Transit), and those interested in joining a future SCA cohort.     

Flow: 

• 4:30pm-5:00pm: Reception with heavy hors d'oeuvres and non-alcoholic refreshments 
• 5:00pm-6:00pm: Program including overview of program, roles and responsibilities, and resources for success, introductions, and Q&A.
