About Chapel Hill Young Professionals

The Chapel Hill Young Professionals (CHYP pronounced "chip") is a group of fun professionals under 40 that meets monthly for networking, professional development, and community service. 

Events are monthly on the first Tuesday. Pop-up joint events and community service projects are added to the calendar regularly and members receive event notifications via newsletter.

The Gathering Place is a community space for nerds of all flavors. We serve the needs of all table top gamers and specialize in Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, board games & craft beverages. With 30 taps of alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages alike, mead, and a full espresso bar - we have something for everyone. We are an all-ages establishment, all the time and stay open until midnight or 2am. We also boast fun bar style events like stand-up comedy showcases, karaoke, board game tournaments & trivia, which are all free to attend!
