Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom Celebrates Grand Opening in Downtown Chapel Hill
Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom will open its first restaurant in the Carolinas, located in downtown Chapel Hill at 140 West Franklin Street.

A grand opening celebration will be held on Thursday, March 20. In tribute to the first Old Chicago restaurant opening in 1976, free pizza for a year will be awarded to the first 76 customers that line up at the new restaurant in advance of its 11 a.m. ribbon cutting with the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce and the Chapel Hill Downtown Partnership.
