DESCRIPTION:The Carrboro Farmers' Market presents its 19th annual Kids Seedling Day on Saturday\, April 18th. At this event\, kids can begin their gardening journey with a seedling of their choice from diverse heirloom varieties donated by Market farmers\, complete with potting soil and growing tips provided by event sponsor Fifth Season Gardening Company. This event celebrates Earth Day and National Poetry Month\, and features a collective poetry-writing activity for kids of all ages with young poets from Carrboro High School\, a raffle by San Marzano Tomato Sponsor Fifth Season Gardening Company\, live music\, and more.\nThis event is also supported by CFM Big Beef Tomato Sponsor Laser Image Printing & Marketing. \nPlan ahead for parking A map with free public parking in downtown Carrboro is available on the Town of Carrboro website. The CFM also has ample bicycle parking stations\, and is convenient to the CW\, J\, and F bus routes\, all free through Chapel Hill Transit.\nThe CFM is open Saturdays year-round (7am-12pm April-October and 9am-12pm November-March) and Wednesdays seasonally (3-6pm April-November) at Carrboro Town Commons.
