Local Government Appreciation Reception
What: The Local Government Appreciation Reception hosted in partnership with The Chamber, Carrboro Business Alliance, and The Black Business Alliance.
Where: Sheraton Chapel Hill Hotel - One Europa Dr, Chapel Hill, NC 27517
Why: The Chamber Board of Directors, Major Investors, and Government Affairs Committee in partnership with the Carrboro Business Alliance Policy Committee and Black Business Alliance Leadership Council host this annual reception to share our appreciation of our elected and senior government officials who work so thoughtfully for our community throughout the year.
Who: The guests of honor include elected officials representing our community at the local, state, and national level as well as senior government officials serving our community.
When: Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
How: The reception will feature refreshments and hors d'oeuvres and include remarks from our esteemed community leaders. This event is open to the public, but space is limited and registration is required.

This event caps a year of policy-related programming called the Critical Issues Series
